The West Virginia Thoroughbred Breeders Association is a non-profit corporation that was founded in 1968 with the purpose to foster and promote the thoroughbred breeding and racing industries in West Virginia.
Members include businesses and individuals who have an interest in thoroughbred breeding and racing in West Virginia. The organization’s members have a shared belief that the West Virginia thoroughbred breeding program is an important and essential industry to West Virginia’s economy and way of life.

Congratulations to Dennis Finger, Dennis Bybee, and Sandra Witherow! They were elected for a three-year term ending in 2021.
GENERAL MEETING - Monday, November 26, 2018 at 6:00 - please come & invite your friends! Refreshments will be served and we are having guest speakers to discuss the WV breeding program, reimbursement programs availabe to farmers from Eastern Conservation District, tax & legislative updates.
The newly renovated Charles Washington Hall, on the 2nd floor above Bushel & Peck at 100 E Washington St., Charles Town, WV will be the meeting place. Parking is available on the street and behind the Old Opera House. There is an elevator to the 2nd floor. The entrance is on George Street.
Since we have live racing on Wednesday nights, we changed the meeting to Monday, November 26th.
