06/03/08 (MP) MAKE YOUR MARK, one of our first stallions to stand in our area, had his first winner April 29, 2008 !

WITHOUT A MARK, by MAKE YOUR MARK, out of SHELLOUT, by FIT TO FIGHT, won the 4th race at Mountaineer Park, an Accredited WV Maiden claiming. WITHOUT A MARK, also is the first foal of MAKE YOUR MARK.

MAKE YOUR MARK, by SHEIKH ALBADOU, out of PIMA, by COX'S RIDGE, stands at Gallop Away Farm, and is owned by Andrea Wilson.

The number of WV Accredited races being used is on the increase. The majority of these races are life time conditions. The program for Mountaineer has been in effect since October 2005, with only a handful of breeders participating. Every new year has shown an increase of horses being registered.
